Archive for June, 2013

Welcome to summertime.  Thank you all for attending the Annual Spring Recital held June 27, 2013.  What a great evening it was!  Congratulations to all of the students for playing so well and having fun.  Everyone did a fabulous job.  Special recognition that evening went to Olivia O’Hara, for practicing a whopping 100 days in a row, to Mackenzie Thompson for bringing me to tears with her musicianship, and to Kyle Thompson for being named the Student of the Year.  I think this was the best recital my students have given in 48 years of teaching.  Way to go, guys!

Everyone also participated in the Virtual Recital.  We at Piggy Productions are in the process of producing the CD now.  As soon as it is finished, I’ll let you know.

A reminder:  please call if you want lessons this summer and we’ll set something up either sporatically or on a regular basis.  I will be unavailable from July 25-August 3, and also sometime during the month of August TBA.

Fall schedule:  The 2013 fall schedule will be updated July 1 with those students who have already reserved a time.  I’ll try to keep it updated as the summer progresses.
