Happy Memorial Day–Monday Lessons Rescheduled.

multinohma3.JPG   Enjoy your Memorial Day celebrations…  Since Monday is a Federal Holiday, there will be no lessons that day.  Monday students should make arrangements for make-up lessons, if you haven’t already, since we’ve had several Mondays with no lessons in May.  I hope you all travel safely if you are traveling, and enjoy your families.  (Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon is the subject of the photo.)

May Notes

Thank you for your patience while I was away.  My daughter and her family are settled into their home in Maine.  It was really nice to be able to help them with their traveling.  Now it’s back to work!

This month students who are early intermediates and above will be concentrating on technical drills and issues, and primary students will be doing notation and rhythmic work.  Please bring your Hanon exercise books.  (Those who have them know they should be bringing them to each lesson!)

Welcome to new students Chris, Mason, Sarah, and Alexandra Hendricks, Alexandra Theofanides, and Kyle and Mackenzie Thompson.  I hope you enjoy your music lessons.

The schedule will remain unchanged for the remainder of May and in June as far as I know.  If you need a change for sports, vacations, etc, just let me know and we’ll work something out.  I keep the same schedule year-round, for the most part.

Student of the month for April:  a tie!  Kyle Thompson and Mackenzie Thompson.  They will receive water bottles for their efforts.  I love their enthusiasm.

Invoices for April were late going out because of my travel.  They were emailed this morning, May 15th.
